I am a celebrant with the Humanist Society Scotland, authorised to conduct legal weddings in Scotland and registered to conduct funerals and naming ceremonies. I live in Stirlingshire which is convenient for travelling across central Scotland, and Loch Lomond is only a short drive away.
I live with my husband and my two children and although my eldest son has well and truly ‘flown the nest’ I love the rare occasions when I can gather everyone together.
I have worked in a number of different capacities throughout my life but when one of my children was born with Down’s Syndrome I decided to study Speech and Language Therapy. Attending university as a mature student whilst attending to the domestic needs of a busy household was a challenge but I loved it. After graduating I worked with young people with significant and complex learning difficulties and I am delighted to be able to use my skills in both my personal and professsional life.
After attending a number of humanist funerals and arranging my own humanist wedding ceremony a few years ago I realised I would like to join the Humanist Society Scotland and become a celebrant.
I adore my role and whether it is a wedding, naming ceremony or funeral I shall work closely with you to ensure you have the type of ceremony that you would like.
